Here is the deal: I could not for the life of me figure out why I would want/need a blog in addition to the Facebook, Twitter, and other endless social media outlets that I have to keep up with. Content on a blog is searchable, and is a great way to drive traffic to your webpage, but posting on social media forums like Facebook and Twitter constantly keeps my company in my followers’ newsfeeds. It’s the difference between being able to be found if someone is thinking of my company and them happening upon my information and remembering me. I completely see the validity in both approaches to expand my business…but I already need 25 hours in the day and ironically I don’t want it all to be in front of a computer screen. As my poor little brain began to melt trying to keep up with it all I realized I was working waaaaay too hard. THERE HAD TO BE AN EASIER WAY!
