When you’re thinking of getting a website done, one of the questions you have to ask yourself is, “how much of a learning curve do I want?” While HTML/CSS websites can be elegant and dynamic, they require a base of knowledge in web development. If you go that route, you have two choices:

  1. Learn HTML and CSS and invest in a good HTML editor, or
  2. Pay someone to design and maintain your site (and by the way, we can do that too).

Lately, though, web design trends have moved more in the do-it-yourself direction. This trend has mostly to do with the emergence of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. Their popularity has mostly to do with the fact that site updates require no HTML knowledge. But, although CMS applications are easy to update, they do require a certain amount of expertise to setup, design, and maintain.

That’s where we come in. Our specialty is that we can setup and design a professional WordPress website, and then show you everything you need to know to update it yourself. After your site is turned over to you, we do the difficult stuff – keeping the site maintained, updating the WordPress installation, the theme, and the plugins.

We can help you setup Google Analytics, which effectively tracks your site’s traffic, and we can also design your promotional materials and give you tutorials in a variety of applications such as Photoshop, Garage Band, iPhoto, iMovie, or pretty much anything you want. Just ask and we’d be happy to help.
